We're on a mission to reimagine and redesign celebration moments and milestones.
It started with a question: Why do we only throw parties for the "expected" milestones?
Think about it — you graduate, there's a party. You get engaged, there's a party. You have a baby, there's a party. But what about the other 99% of life? The moments that actually shape who you are?
What about the day you finally cleaned out your garage and could actually park your car in it? What about hitting menopause and owning it? What about leaving a job that was slowly crushing your soul? What about pulling weeds on a Saturday morning and feeling like you've got your life together?
Those moments deserve confetti too.
Ridiculous Reveals was born from the belief that celebration shouldn't be reserved for the "approved" milestones. We're building a movement — and an event planning service — that encourages people to throw parties for the absurd, the everyday, the impractical, and the downright ridiculous.
Because if you can throw a gender reveal party with a smoke cannon, you can absolutely throw a divorce party with one too. 🎉
We believe the small wins, the weird milestones, and the overlooked transitions deserve just as much celebration as the "big" ones.
In a world that tells you to be serious, choosing joy — especially for the everyday — is a revolutionary act.
This isn't about going viral. It's about building a community of people who refuse to let life's little moments pass uncelebrated.
Who decided only graduations and weddings deserve a party? We're rewriting the rulebook on what's worth celebrating.
Founder and Chief Ridiculous Officer
Amy is very serious about celebrating the ridiculous. In fact, the idea for Ridiculous Reveals came about when she, (finally!) after 23 years, decided to get a new car. To mark this milestone moment, she threw her treasured 2003 Honda-CRV, Black Betty, a retirement party to celebrate, honor, and reflect on all of the memories and adventures they had together. This sparked a quest to ponder what other overlooked moments, milestones, transitions, and tasks deserved their own parties.

Thanks for the memories, Black Betty!
